Despite the wintery weather and the changes to day light saving we managed to get 29 quality paddlers on the start line this afternoon for the final race in the Pita Pit 10km Winter Race Series.
The onform Samuel Newlands demonstrated how his marathon preperation is on track by taking todays race win and the series title from Race One champ Tim McLaren - jeepers it was a close one!
